FontDiscovery 🖼️ 102: Our 2022 🥂

fontdiscovery.typogram.co

Hi Everyone 👋

Can you believe it? In less than two weeks, 2022 will be over.

This will be the final issue for 2022 before I go off to the holidays. The next issue will be out on January 3, 2023. Reflecting on this year, it has been full of ups and downs, challenges, learnings, and new experiences.

A big up is that we launched the pre-order for Typogram, which is a huge accomplishment. Launching something we have worked so hard on was such a memorable yet scary experience, but we received so much support from everyone. I feel so motivated for our next milestone, the official launch in January.

A challenge was figuring out how to market and grow the product continuously. It’s something I still need to get better at, but I’ve learned a lot. For example, a win is getting our story published and featured on Makerpad. If you are looking for entrepreneurs to guest blog or talk on a podcast guest, hit me up ⭐.

A more personal win is I finally learned how to play an instrument. This year, I bought a mandolin, and I have been trying to learn how to play it on Youtube whenever I have free time. Though sometimes I wonder if I chose the right instrument (tuning eight strings is not fun), I’m happy to share that I finally mastered the G scale. It also taught me the importance of patience.

The last win: Fontdiscovery now has more than 100 issues and wrapping up its second year. We also started to build an archive. I know I am always talking about it, but I’m constantly in awe. Thank you for your support!

How was your year? I would love to hear about it via reply.
